He believes that the country may never find a way out of communism, unless they can all unite with nationalism. In other words, the only way for everyone to come together is if they all feel patriotic in the same ways rather than focusing on governmental views and rules. They could also unite the country if they all had the same religious views, but that may not work since they all focus on communism and punishing those who support equality.
